Recently formed, the 4-piece band originated from open mic’s at Taphouse in November 2008. Dan and AJ were introduced to one anothers music by a mutual friend, and within a couple weeks were sharing the stage together. After hosting the open mic nights every week, the two found Matt in the audience, played the drums and accompanied the acoustic duo very well. After a few more jams, scooners, late night tuesdays, and hungover days..Wednesday Morning Blues was formed. Their long-time friend Dukes, was welcomed into the band in winter ‘09 on bass to complete WMB‘s original sound. After only 5 months since their first 3-piece show, the band has already shared the stage with one of their favorites Current Swell, and have headlined shows within the city, along with recording the bands first 8 song LP entitled Call Of The Road.
