10 writers. 5 minutes each. New venue. We are the Edmonton Story Slam Society. We brought it here—the 3rd regular story slam in the world. We are a united group of friends who have nurtured it for more than four years. We do not condone the slam at the old venue, but encourage you to experience the stage at The Haven—it’s authentic. We protect the right of writers to speak with freedom. We do not expect the writers to bend who they are. Simply present a story to an audience—fact or fiction. The result is magic.
